Ban On Majid Majidi film: Ashok Pandit and Anubhav Sinha said this against banning Majid Majidi's film
filmmakers Anubhav Sinha and Ashok Pandit have reacted and made their stand against the ban on JNN Majid Majidi’s film. Recently, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh called for a ban on filmmaker Majid Majidi’s 2015 film Mohammad: The Messenger of God. In his letter, Anil Deshmukh mentioned that he has called for a ban after receiving a complaint from the Raza Academy promoting Islamic religious beliefs, making serious allegations that the film hurt the religious sentiments of many in the country Will do.

In response to the ban, filmmaker Ashok Pandit wrote a letter to Maharashtra Home Minister Mr. Anil Deshmukh condemning his decision and asking him to reconsider the case. On Twitter, Ashok Pandit shared the pictures of the letter and tweeted, ‘Dear @AnilDeshmukhNCP Your letter to ban the film Mohammed of Paramajid Majidi at the behest of radical organization like G Raza Academy will prove a terrible example for India’s democratic values. ‘

Moving forward, he requested Anubhav Sinha as well as other members of the film fraternity to react and support him. Raza Academy was also accused of destroying #AmarJawanJyoti in Mumbai. In a thread tweet, Ashok Pandit has tagged Anubhav Sinha, Soni Razdan, Farhan Akhtar, Mahesh Bhatt, Sudhir Mishra, Hansal Mehta, Nandita Das, Konkona Sen Sharma, Shabana Azmi, Reema Kagti, Rahul Bose and other filmmakers and actors. Filmmaker Majid has sought support for Majidi.

Reacting to the tweet, Anubhav Sinha tweeted, ‘Pandit ji, my personal experience with CBFC under this government has been fantastic on three different occasions. I will wait for the Minister to reply to this letter. ‘ In his reply, Anubhav Sinha tweeted, “I trust my central government on this”. The slap director mentioned that he trusts the central government, as in the BJP government and will wait for the minister’s response on the issue.
