Beyonce and Jay Z has appeared to make headline again but this time not for their music or collaboration. The power couple of Hollywood has recently purchased a 30,000 sq ft mansion in Malibu which turns out to be the most expensive villa present in California. The mansion is spread over eight acre concrete compound and is designed by Japanese architect, Tadao Ando, a Pritzker Prize Winner who is renowned all over Asia, Europe, North America for his architectural masterpieces. Tadao Ando is currently working for Kanye West s new home.
The L-shaped mansion with vast opening has concrete hallways, floor to celling walls of glass meanwhile other part leads to swimming pool, cabana and flat, grassy lawn.
This new home turns out to be the second most expensive home in the country as the top position is hold by a New York City apartment costing $238 million. Earlier, the mansion was owned by William Bell who is popularly known as one of the biggest art collectors in the globe. It took Bell 15 years to build the whole mansion.
This isn t the power duo s first purchase in Malibu as prior to this the couple already owns a mansion in Bel-Air. The mansion was bought back in 2017 at a price of $88 million.
