Dance the Night will be the first single released from the highly anticipated Barbie film. Dua Lipa took to social media to share a video of the notorious shoe sequence, which was initially seen in the teaser, as well as an image of the singer blowing a kiss to the camera. A song snippet is also included.

Dua Lipa will play mermaid Barbie in addition to providing music for the film s soundtrack. Her acting career is only getting started. Dance the Night is Dua Lipa s first solo release since the re-release of her album Future Nostalgia in 2021.
This will be the first release from the former Crystal Castles frontwoman since 2022 s LIPS APART and Chastity, on which she teamed with Pussy Riot and Boys Noize. The revamped song appears to be a collaboration with Adore, and it will be released in conjunction with the debut of the Barbie film.
