Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s film Dil Bechara is in the news. The film’s director Mukesh Chhabra told in an interview that he had told Sushant that the film would be released online. He said in an interview to Pinkvilla that Sushant was aware of the film’s online release and felt that it was the best time to release the film on a digital platform as everyone would be able to watch it. Chhabra said Sushant knew that there was no certainty when the theaters would open.
Also Mukesh Chhabra also said, ‘He was very happy with this decision too’. Talking about the film, Chhabra said, ‘Sushant could not see the final cut of the film but he saw it during dubbing. He said that the actor was very keen on this film and both also discussed about the marketing plan. Significantly, two songs of the film ‘Dil Bechara’, one of which the title track of the film and the romantic song ‘Taare Gin’ have been released so far. However, his fans and some stars wanted him to be released in the cinema halls. It will also feature Sanjana Sanghi along with Sushant. The film is also a tribute to the actor. The actor allegedly committed suicide at his Mumbai home last month.
