Ayushman Khurana has once again hit the box office. Her film ‘Dream Girl’ has crossed the 100 crore mark at the box office and it took only 11 days for the film to take place.
After the second weekend, Dream Girl achieved the figure of 97.65 crores. Dream Girl needed only 2.35 crores to go to 100 crores club. According to Bollywood Hungama, the film had a collection of 3.75 crores on the second Monday, taking the 11-day collection of the film to 101.40 crores. With this, Dream Girl took entry in the 100 crore club. This is the second film of Ayushmann to reach this club. His earlier congratulations have become a part of 100 crores, which was released in 2018. At the same time, it has become the 12th film to earn at least 100 crores in the year 2019 and will soon be included in the top 10 films of the year.
Looking at the pace of the film, it is being speculated that the collection of 150 crores will be done easily and will become the biggest success of Ayushmann’s career. Dream Girl released on 6 September had a collection of 72.20 crores in the opening week, while in the second weekend, the film collected 25.45 crores.
Dream Girl is produced by Ekta Kapoor, while Raj Shandilya is directing. Nusrat Bharucha played the female lead role in the film. The film’s story revolves around an unemployed young man who works in a call center, but has to talk to customers by the name of Pooja. On seeing this, people become crazy about the voice of worship, but the difficulty arises when his father also joins those who want to worship.
Although ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’, ‘Prasthanam’ and ‘The Zoya Factor’ were also released on 20 September, but the figures are showing that these films have not had any significant impact on the earnings of Dream Girl. Dream Girl still remains the first choice for viewers.
