The havoc of the corona virus is increasing in India, in which the situation in Maharashtra is very worrying. The number of patients in Maharashtra is continuously increasing at a high speed, due to which many cities of Maharashtra are completely stopped. Due to this, the shooting of film and TV has also not started and the film industry is losing billions and Artist is facing financial crisis. The special thing is that till now there has not been any discussion to remove the ban on shooting, so that it can be known by when the shooting is expected to start.

Now the Federation of Western India Cinema Employees has written to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray seeking permission to start the work of Mumbai Film Industry. In this letter sent on Tuesday, the Chief Minister has been asked to allow post-production work. It is also written, ‘If permission is given for work like post-production, then it can be done in closed studio with minimum workfros and this will be very much relief. Producers will be ready to release their projects immediately after the lockdown ends.

FWICE Chief Advisor Ashok Pandit said in the letter, ‘Like other economies, the film industry is going through an unprecedented economic crisis. We have to come back to work slowly, because we will not wait for the virus to go away. I don’t think it’s going to go soon. We have to do our work around it. ‘ Actually, it has been more than two months since the film shooting stopped.

This has stalled the producers’ projects and is causing a lot of damage. Apart from this, economic crisis has arisen in front of Daily Wages Workers and Junior Artists. However, many stars of the film world have come forward to help these people and have also reached out to the workers through FWICE. Now it has to be seen that when the shooting work starts and what are the conditions in it are decided by the government.

Due to the lockdown that took place across the country, it has had an impact in almost every department. But the lockdown that has hurt the film industry the most. Shooting of films and TV world is completely closed. Due to which the daily wages workers working in the industry are in bad shape. Meanwhile, now the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has written to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray asking for permission for post production.

In this letter, FWICE has appealed to the Chief Minister to allow the post production of films, serials and web shows to the industry. So that the post production work of those whose shooting has been completed can be completed. So that the project of the producer can be prepared.

According to the Federation, shooting cannot be started due to Corona virus but thousands of unemployed technicians will get work again once the post production work starts and they will start earning. With this, social distance can be easily followed in this work. No more than 4-5 people will live in one place.

After shooting, film, TV and web show goes into post production. Where editing, sound mixing, music recording, VFX, special effects are all kinds of works. Which is dealt by sitting in the studio. According to the Federation, thousands of people will start earning even after getting permission for post production work. Which will prove to be a great help in this difficult time.
