Kohli can break the record of Pakistan’s Tellyupdates.me

Port of Spain: Virat Kohli, captain of the Indian cricket team, is 19 runs away from breaking the record for the most runs scored in the ODI against West Indies by former Pakistan captain Javed Miandad. Miandad played his last ODI against the Windies in 1993, and if Kohli scores 19 runs in the match against the Windies on Sunday, he will break the 26-year-old record of the legendary batsman of Pakistan.

Miandada has scored 1930 runs in 64 innings against the two-time world champion. If Kohli leaves Miandad behind on Sunday, the Indian captain will accomplish this task in just 34 innings.

Kohli did not get a chance to bat in the first ODI played against the Windies, as the match lasted only 13 overs due to rain and in this also the host team batted first.
