It is such that the people of a village in Igatpuri, Nashik have dedicated the name of their village to their hero to pay tribute to Irrfan Khan. It is being told that Irfan Khan has a farm house in this village and he used to take time out of his busy schedule and come here with the family. According to our partner website, earlier this village was named ‘Patrachaya Wada’. But after the death of Irfan, the villagers have renamed it as Hero Chi Wadi. Let me tell you that this is a Marathi word meaning ‘neighborhood of actor’.

Earlier also, such news used to come out that Irfan Khan used to donate essential things for the school students here. The villagers had decided to change the name of the village after seeing all these works.

Remind that Irrfan Khan came to know in the year 2018 that he is suffering from neuroendocrine tumor. Irfan Khan said goodbye to the world after fighting a battle with cancer for two years. He was admitted to the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, during which he breathed his last. Due to the lockdown, only 20 people attended Irfan Khan’s last darshan. Apart from this, the actor was last seen in the film ‘English Medium’, in which Kareena Kapoor, Radhika Madan and Dimple Kapadia also played important roles with him.

Actor Irfan Khan, who is acting with his eyes, is no longer in this world. But he will always be remembered for his strong acting and brilliant voice. Irfan Khan died on 29 April. Anand was writing this film keeping in mind Irrfan Khan. The script of the film was in the works for the past 5 years, but the death of Irrfan Khan has given a big shock to director Anand Gandhi.

Regarding this, Anand Gandhi said, “We were earlier trying to tell the true form of the epidemic through the film. But now it is between us. Now I don’t have to convince people about it. That is why we will have to make some changes in the script of the film again. Now we can take the audience straight to the next level and talk about the life after the epidemic. He has named this projector as ‘Emergency’ at present. He is now going to cast actor Sushant Singh Rajput in this film instead of Irrfan Khan. Apart from him, Australian actor Hugo Weaving will also cast in the film.

Talking about Irfan Khan’s workfront, he has worked not only in Bollywood but also in Hollywood. His first film was Salaam Bombay in 1988. The film was directed by Meera Nair.
