Hotstar is going to release not one or two but 7 big Hindi films directly on its platforms. It features Ajay Devgan starrer Bhuj the Pride of India and Akshay Kumar starrer Lakshmi Bomb. Pinkvilla in its report quoted the source as saying that Lakshmi Bomb signed a deal for 125 crores. At the same time, Ajay Devgan, Bhushan Kumar and Wazir Singh have bagged the best deal for Bhuj. The rights to the film have been bought by Hotstar for 112 crores. For Bhuj, this deal is considered too big.

Apart from seven big films on Hotstar, Vidya Balan starrer Shakuntaladevi is scheduled to be released on Amazon Prime Video.
