An action thriller, Lost Bullet is a riveting movie with all the necessary components. The roughly 90-minute runtime is what prevents things from disintegrating. There is nothing inherently wrong with the movie; it does what it sets out to do. Although the movie’s perspective on justice is one we’ve seen countless times, Lost Bullet’s story moves forward quickly despite being foreshadowed. And by doing so, the movie is able to remain successful and authentic to its subject.

Lost Bullet Plot Summary: What Is The Film About?
Lino, a skilled mechanic, and Quentin, a fellow thief, attempt to use a car to steal into a jewellery store in the middle of the night. Lino is taken prisoner in the process, but Quentin manages to get away. A few days later, Officer Charas pays Lino a visit in jail and offers him the option to avoid being imprisoned. All Lino needs to do is modify Charas’ vehicles so that his crew can capture the Go-Fast (drug sellers of methamphetamine) without damaging their vehicles.
A few months go by as Lino makes the most of his skills by modifying the police cars. Two dealers are being sought after by Charas and his squad, which also includes Marko, Julia, and Areski. The squad is using vehicles with specially designed Lino bull bars (push bars). When Areski approaches from the front and slams into the dealer’s car forcefully, it just about manages to escape. The drugs are seized, and both the dealers pass away. Charas is not happy, though, because they might have gotten closer to the drug ring if they had followed the dealers or at least managed to capture them. Additionally, he discovers a red switch wired inside the vehicle and saves it for later. The switch was the identical one he discovered in Lino’s car after being apprehended the night of the crime.
Since nine months ago, Lino has been employed by Charas. In the former’s antique vehicle, a red Renault 21, are Charas and Lino. Charas assigns Lino to work on new automobiles and takes him to a brand-new garage. In exchange for his assistance in helping the Charas squad find drug dealers, he also offers him an early release. However, he displays to Lino the red switch that was found in the dealer’s vehicle. Charas is informed by Lino that an injection diverter is what gives a car a 300% boost in power. He expresses his scepticism over Quentin, Lino’s brother, who may be working for the dealers who utilise these injection diverters.
Charas travels with Lino to the junkyard where he had worked before his theft career. There are three individuals there: Quentin, Jacques, and Kad. Charas requests assistance from Areski and Marco. They both reach the location. Charas instructs Areski and Marco to transport Jacques and Kad to the police station as he drives Lino and Quentin along in his car. Areski, who is positioned behind the automobile, shoots Charas as he prepares to start it. His chest is shot through by the bullet, which then becomes stuck in the dashboard. Dead is Charas. Lino is startled but is able to get away. Kad, Jacques, and Quentin are instructed by Areski to set Charas’ body and automobile on fire. All the evidence is now in Lino’s favour. He is covered in Charas’ blood (he was beside Charas in the car when Areski shot Charas). His gun is Charas’s. Additionally, Charas leaves a voicemail on Areski’s phone saying that he is with Lino. Can Lino establish his innocence? Yes, but how? Only Quentin can save him.
Why Did Lino Decide To Seek Justice For Charas?
By granting Lino release in exchange for the job he has done for Charas’ team, Charas demonstrates his confidence in him. While Charas takes Lino to a new garage where there are more vehicles for Lino to work on, Lino is overwhelmed and cautions Charas about having too much faith in others, but nothing changes. Charas, though, merely grinned at him. He is convinced of Lino’s inherent goodness. After all, he has provided hands-on assistance for nine months without expecting anything in return. It simply serves to highlight Lino’s passion for automobiles and his work as a technician. Sadly, Lino’s predictions come to pass when Areski and Marco, who would have been cooperating with the drug traffickers and acting as spies within the police station, knife him in the back. His passing serves as Lino’s inspiration to hold Areski and Marco accountable for their deeds, even if it means going back to jail.
Why Marco Didn t Tell Areski The Truth About The Car?
Jacques instructed Quentin to keep Charas’ red Renault’s identity a secret, which Kad divulges when Marco threatens to kill him. However, Marco withholds this information from Areski. Marco shakes his head as Areski asks him if Kad divulged anything. Later, he searches for the car by himself. He must have known where Quentin concealed the automobile, or Kad may have revealed it to him. The earlier explanation also makes sense because they occasionally hid drugs there (as we find out when Quentin brings out a bag of drugs from the kitchen after he takes Lino there). He tells Lino there that all he wants is the automobile. Why? We cannot be certain. Maybe he didn’t trust Lino or Quentin with it and wanted to keep it secure somewhere else. even murders Quentin. If he hadn’t, he would have notified Areski about it, which is why we say he wanted to keep it secure. He is perfectly aware that if Charas hadn’t been killed, Quentin would have undoubtedly told the truth under questioning, and that he and Areski would have been apprehended. Even Jacques and Kad are killed by him for the same reason. As a result, it appears that Marco may have had other plans and may have harboured resentment towards Areski for executing their boss, Charas, in secret. It doesn’t work out that way though because Lino shoots him, just missing a fatality, and then searches for the automobile.
What Was The Significance Of Lino s Past?
The history between Lino and officer Julia is one issue that the movie doesn’t get into. We learn about this through Areski, who uses the information as leverage to prevent Julia from getting involved in the situation. If she does, others will assume that she is attempting to protect Lino. Although it appears that Julia and Lino’s divergent professional interests were the cause of their breakup, there must be more to the tale. Lost Bullet Ending Explained: Did Lino Prove His Innocence? What To Expect From The Sequel?
unresolved emotional issue Lino drapes a piece of cloth over Quentin’s lifeless body before discovering Chara’s automobile tucked away beneath a mound of cow manure. The sole piece of evidence left that can establish Areski’s culpability and establish his guilt is the automobile. He sets it up as a sort of homage to Charas, who provided Lino the chance to test drive cars. At the conclusion of the movie, he is seen driving the burning vehicle to the body shop where he formerly did repairs on police vehicles. Moss, the head of the department (Charas’ supervisor), and Jeff, Lino’s helper (at the car cop shop), are present and use fire extinguishers to put out the fire. Once the bullet is removed from the car safe and examined, it will soon become clear that it came from Areski’s weapon. This will demonstrate that Areski actually shot Charas. Unfortunately, Areski flees before he can be apprehended, abandoning his family and home. Thus, despite finding Charas’ automobile and recovering the misplaced bullet, Lino is unable to get revenge on Areski.
The importance of the title Lost Bullet is that it served as Lino, the protagonistsole ,’s line of defence and means of establishing his innocence. A discharged bullet is harmless, but it always appears frightening to the outside world. Lino was the shot that was fired; he had already done his share of wrongdoing and intended to stay as far away from that world as he could. No matter what kind of future one hopes for, the past inevitably comes back around. Lino was viewed by the authorities like a bullet that might reload at any moment. The authorities immediately declared him a criminal after hearing a rumour about him since they thought it was in his nature to commit crimes. He was given a criminal record for life. Thankfully, Lino managed to disarm all of the charges with the aid of one misplaced bullet.
Cops will definitely issue a search warrant for Areski in Lost Bullet: Back for More. Additionally, we must keep in mind that Marco is still alive. Therefore, the police might use him and his connections to find Areski. Additionally, Lino has contacts of his own that can be helpful.
