Merli: Sapere Aude Season 1: Recap And Season 2: Plotline
Pol Rubio found new independence and reinvented himself among his new companions at the end of Merli: Sapere Aude’s first season. He gets to know Maria Bolano, his new lecturer, and learns about her vices. Pol learns about his sexuality and begins to embrace himself. He separates from his longtime friend Bruno and embarks on a different course apart from him. Maria enrols herself in a self-help group in the meantime after realising her inappropriate behaviour toward her friend Silvia. After she makes a conscious decision to stop using alcohol as a way to drown in her grief, she reunites with Silvia. She is also aware of the worries her loved ones are experiencing as a result of her alcoholism.
Merli: Maria and Pol’s life are starting over at the start of Sapere Aude Season 2. They shift to a new chapter, where they are introduced to a variety of fresh experiences that aid in their pursuit of happiness. While growing in love with Axel and coming to terms with who he is, Pol gets over his crush on Rai and embraces him as a friend. He battles HIV for a very long time, and at first, out of fear, he nearly loses himself. Apollo, a.k.a. Pol, introduces Maria to Dino, the proprietor of Satanassa Bar. In order to rescue her from her loneliness, Dino guides her toward discovering herself and then whisks her away. Rai, Biel, and Oti, among the other characters, battle to discover their own trajectories. Oti reconciles with her boyfriend once more and keeps studying philosophy. While overcoming Minerva, Biel, on the other hand, is completely certain of his chosen course. After giving up philosophy in order to find his calling, Rai loses his enthusiasm and decides to travel.
Disappearance of Characters
Two of the supporting characters who serve as potential love interests have been absent from the series seemingly from the beginning. Rai’s potential love interest Minerva appears to have returned to Argentina and is living with her grandmother. Pol’s potential love interest Bruno vanished after being seen leaving Rai’s party. Even when Pol found employment thanks to Bruno’s friend Angel, he was not mentioned. Through his father, Merli, who was a crucial figure in Pol’s decision to study philosophy and become a professor, Bruno was connected to Pol. We anticipated a brief cameo in Merli: Sapere Aude Season 2. However, it is strongly hinted that Pol has developed an identity apart from his identification as a Merli student and that Bruno has moved on. Both Merli and Bruno’s famous actress grandmother were left out of the conversation. The only time he was addressed was as a token of respect for being such a significant teacher. Despite being billed as a tribute to Merli, the entire series seemed to suggest that the pupils had advanced and were getting closer to realising who they were.
The Characters Rediscover Themselves
In addition to continuing to attend the self-help group to give her that extra push, Professor Bolano manages to avoid relapsing. She has been sober for more than two months and gets to see her daughter once again. She finds it hard to believe that her daughter is grown enough to move in with her boyfriend, Victor, in a new apartment. She continuously makes decisions for them and prevents them from relocating together. She gets into a heated argument with Silvia, her buddy, and then sulks about campus. After a heated argument, Sylvia leaves their shared office and asks Octavi to take care of her. Pol presents her to his boss, Dino, in order to assist her in resolving her problems and rediscovering herself. Although Maria warms up to the bar and Dino right away, her inhibitions prevent her from being entirely open. Dino recognised her loneliness by his words and helping demeanour, which enabled her to be entirely honest and forced her to take part in many gatherings where all of the staff members sat down and shared their darkest, most secretive secrets. She eventually acknowledged that she had been envious of her daughter’s joy. She had become resentful due to her loneliness and had lost her original enthusiasm. By urging her to picture him as someone she likes, Dino rekindles the flame and takes care of her loneliness. Then, instead of being stationary and feeling sorry for herself, he whisks her away on a cruise, allowing Maria to renew herself.
In Merli: Sapere Aude Season 2, Rai is disoriented and unable to concentrate on anything in particular. Rai was absolutely bewildered and unsure of his future as a result of Minerva’s decision to remain in Argentina. After learning of Pol’s father’s unpaid tax bill, he tried to help Pol despite his depression because he had found some solace in Minerva. Rai hires Alfonso as a butler and aids with his debt repayment. He senses a gulf forming between them after realising that his friend Pol is keeping quiet about what is actually bothering him. In an effort to find a place to fit in, Rai tries to get in touch with his old acquaintances, but instead, he is robbed while he is returning home. Rai loses all sense of direction and falls into sadness. He finally decides to take matters into his own hands and travel in order to reclaim his lost soul and achieve his goals.
Merli: Sapere Aude Season 2: Ending Explained Does Pol Save Himself and Find Happiness?
Pol already knows what he wants to do. However, he exploits them as a stepping-stone to advance his agenda while trying to prove himself superior to his buddies and fellow classmates. He disregards his morals and betrays his buddies in order to gain what he desires. Axel, the carpenter in charge of rebuilding the main hall, has him falling in love. Pol is put to the test by Axel, who does so in a way that he can rely on. Pol notices that he is falling strongly and quickly for Axel. As Pol’s life starts to improve, his awareness of having HIV and his father’s debt bring him down. Realizing this, he pulls away from his buddies and Axel. He becomes enraged with Efra because he was responsible for Pol’s HIV status and because of his actions, Efra lost his job. In order to assist Pol and salvage his discussion, Axel instead provides him his room and restores the Main Hall in two weeks, just in time for the symposium. They start dating, and after some trial and error, Pol eventually finds bliss. He then waits to be introduced as a professor of philosophy.
Teen Series As An Aid To Create An Awareness
Merli: The two main topics of Sapere Aude Season 2 were philosophy and sexually transmitted illnesses like HIV and AIDS. The series, through the plot and Pol, as the main character, introduced HIV and created an awareness that would stop other people from treating HIV-positive patients as if they had the plague. Once on medication, there is little to no probability of HIV transmission. The series’ overarching message also encouraged safe and consensual sexual behaviour. Sexual illnesses may spread as a result of improper sexual education. However, if a person does have HIV, it is not a disease that ll stop a person from leading a normal life. However, it is better to always practice safe sex and go for a regular checkup. If a patient does become HIV positive, then it is alright because there is medication to keep it in check. HIV can be kept in check, and it is not going to be an issue, so there s no reason for panic. With medication, the person can easily return to normal life.
