He came for our office ‘Aashiqui 2’, but it didn’t work. We then met for Road 2. Alia and Mahesh Bhatt said Sushant is very keen on it. They came and met me and we talked for hours on various issues.

Singer and BJP leader Babul Supriyo also tweeted on the matter. He has written – Mukesh Bhatt ji, who is my good friend by the way, was sad to hear him saying on Times Now that he had an idea of Sushant’s future. They could not give him Road 2 or Aashiqui 2 for business reasons, okay. But it is shameful that he, like his father, did not help.

Significantly, Sushant was undergoing depression for several months. His last film was Chhichhore. Earlier, some of his films were also flops.
