Salman Khan is one of the most successful and popular actors of Bollywood. His films are called critical proof, so he remains a hit machine at the box office, but very few people will know that there was a time in Salman’s career when he almost left the film industry. Not because his films were not running, but because Salman Khan gave many hit films one after the other.
Bollywood Direct has referred to this entire incident from an Instagram account, which states that there was a time in the 90s when Salman Khan stopped working after giving many hits. In a conversation with senior journalist Prabhu Chawla, Salman said that he used to have fun at that time. Used to have parties all the time. One day, Father Salim Khan came to him late at night and said – If there is someone who can spoil everything, then you are yourself. God does not want anything like this to happen. The family also does not want this and your fans definitely do not want this. So if anyone can spoil everything, it is you.
In this interview, Salman told that Arbaaz Khan had also given him advice, which was an extension of his father’s talk. Arbaaz had quoted the dialogue of Salim’s landmark film Sholay that if anyone can kill Gabbar Singh, he is Gabbar himself. This advice from father and brother shook Salman and he was inspired to work.
Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 is releasing on 20th of this month. Arbaaz Khan is the producer of this film. The film is directed by Prabhu Deva.
