During the lockdown, Sonu had launched a campaign to send migrant laborers stuck in Maharashtra and other states to their homes, through which they transported hundreds of laborers and students to their hometowns and territories through buses and flights. Sonu had to bear the entire cost of this. Sonu had also started a help line to reach people and also tried to reach people through Twitter, WhatsApp. Sonu’s work was highly praised on social media. This campaign of Sonu is still going on.
Sonu will now convey this entire experience to people through a book. This book will mention about the feelings and challenges during this journey. The book is being published by Penguin Random House and will be released later this year. However, the title of the book has not yet been kept.
