Sushant Singh Rajput: Aditya Chopra's statement to police, 'did not stop actor from working with other filmmakers'

After the suicide of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, there is a debate on many issues on social media and the police are also trying to find the cause of suicide. Police has so far taken statements of many people associated with the film industry, in which it is coming out that Sushant Singh Rajput was offered many films. Recently, Yash Raj Films chairman Aditya Chopra told the police that the production house did not stop Sushant Singh Rajput from working with other filmmakers in the industry. Please tell that Aditya Chopra was interrogated at Bandra Police Station for about four hours.

According to an India Today report, Chopra was summoned by the police following allegations that the actor was unable to work with Leela Bhansali due to a contract with the production house. Subsequently, Aditya Chopra has given a statement that the production house has not done so and has denied the allegations. At the same time, police are also investigating why the actor left the production house in the middle even after the three films were contracted.

According to the report, police sources say that Chopra had said in his statement that Bhansali had contracted with Ranveer Singh before Rajput signed a contract with Yash Raj Films. In such a situation, there is no question of Sushant Singh working with Bhansali. Sushant had to do a film with the banner, though he could not do it due to some reasons.

Apart from these, police have also recorded statements of Sushant’s friend Riya Chakraborty, friend Sandeepsingh, film Dil Bechara’s co-star Sanjana Sanghi, flatmate Siddharth Pithani, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and many others. Amid the police investigation, several politicians and their friend Riya Chakraborty have appealed that the CBI should be investigated in the suicide case.
