Mumbai Police continues to investigate Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case. The police is also investigating Sushant’s death with a commercial angle. In this connection, the police called filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for questioning on Monday, where many questions related to Sushant were asked for 4 hours. According to sources, Sanjay told the police that he did not drop Sushant from any of his films, but Sushant himself refused to do the film, because at that time he was shooting a film with Yash Raj Films.
According to the Mid-Day report, the investigation team at Bandra police station had prepared around 20 questions. Bhansali reached the police station at around 12.30 pm on Monday. The police asked Bhansali about the films in which he wanted to take Sushant. Let us tell you that there were allegations that Sushant had gone into depression after being shot by bullets Rasleela Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani. The report quoted the police officer as saying that Bhansali refused to drop.
Bhansali told the police, Sushant was preparing for Yash Raj Films at that time, due to which he refused Bhansali. Bhansali wanted complete dedication on both his films. Bhansali did not ask Sushant again.
In a statement given to the police, Bhansali said that he met Sushant in 2016. There was no conversation after that. He was not involved in Sushant’s proximity. So it is not known that he was in depression.
Bhansali was questioned for around 3 hours under the leadership of Bandra Division ACP Dattatreya Bhargude and Investigation Officer Inspector Bhushan Belnekar. He was then asked to go to the Santacruz Police Station, where DCP Abhishek Trimukhe interrogated him for about an hour. About 35-40 questions were asked to him.
In the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case, after Bhansali, the number of depositors has been 30. According to the report, most people were questioned for over 8 hours. Please tell that Sushant Singh Rajput had committed suicide at his residence in Mumbai on 14 June. No suicide note was recovered from the police.
