In the case of the suicide of film actor Sushant Singh Rajput, statements have been made by interrogating many of the biggest talent managers of Bollywood. The latest statement has been recorded of Reshma Shetty. Mumbai Police has questioned her on Friday. Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on the morning of 14 June. Investigations are on to find out the reason behind the actor’s suicide. On Friday 10 July, Mumbai Police questioned Reshma Shetty of Bollywood. According to sources, he was questioned for four to five hours. The details of his statement are not yet known.
Reshma Shetty has worked with many Bollywood A listers including Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Alia Bhatt. She is also responsible for the major commercials she does. Reshma Shetty, head of Bollywood’s leading talent management company Matrix, was also the brain behind Salman Khan’s Being Human campaign. He helped Salman get multi-crore deals through the reality TV show Bigg Boss and many films. However in 2018 she split up. Reshma Shetty has since been looking after the work of Akshay Kumar. Apart from them, she also handles Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt and many other leading stars.
Police has so far recorded statements of more than 35 people in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide. Those questioned include family members, friends, co-workers of the late actor, and those who worked with him. Apart from him, some journalists working for Bollywood portals have been questioned and the police have information about the sources through which the stories were written. According to friends of the late Sushant, some stories circulated about him had a negative impact on him. The actors looked upset after reading them.
The statements also showed that Sushant Singh Rajput often felt that someone was targeting him and trying to destroy his image and career. Police is doing everything possible to find out the cause of Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide. The actor was found hanging at his Bandra residence on 14 June.
