In this sequence, Karan Johar came on his target. Sushant’s fans accused Karan of promoting nepotism and he started trolling fiercely. After this trolling, Karan stopped following All Star Kids on Twitter and has not posted any since 14 June. It is now reported that Karan may resign from the board of Mumbai Film Festival (MAMI) and there is a specific reason behind it.
According to a Mumbai Mirror report, Karan is saddened that no person from the industry came forward to help him when he was being trolled on social media. Nobody supported them. He has mailed other board officials regarding his resignation. The report also states that Deepika Padukone is trying to convince them. Mami’s panel consists of Vikramaditya Motwane, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Zoya Akhtar and Kabir Khan.
