Action-packed Chinese anime series Xian Wang de Richang Shenguo, also known as The Daily Life of the Immortal King, is currently available on Netflix. It is based on KuXuan’s light book and Manhua series of the same name, which were both directed by KuXuan and Zhu BeNing and produced by Bilibili. The first season of the show, which debuted on January 18, 2020, is currently streaming on Netflix.

Wang Ling enrols at his high school, where he re-catch up with Tuntian Ha. He calms him down and accepts him as a buddy. Tuntian Ha is given the new name Froggy 2 and befriends Wang Ling. He later introduces his other buddies, including the musclehead Chen Chao, the gamer Guo Hao, and the romantic interest and descendant of Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, Sun Rong. The Shadow Stream Group is focusing on Sun Rong because he is the successor of the Huaguo Water Curtain Group. Wang Ling always intervenes to save her when the Shadow Stream Group pulls off a cunning attack.
Sector 59 is a similar district to Sector 60 in that the cultivators go to their own school there. Schools from these two sectors compete with one another. Wang Li and his pals are selected to battle against the school’s cultivators. The final battle of season one is staged in the same magical theatre where the competition is contested. Sun Rong is the target of an attack by the leader of the Shadow Stream Group, who enters the tournament undercover as a student.

Wang Ling is portrayed throughout the season as an impersonal, disconnected boy. In the second-to-last episode, when the amulet broke, Wang Ling had an emotional outburst that left him unbalanced. The death of Sun Rong by the Shadow Clan’s leader in the second-to-last episode was the final straw that caused the talisman to fail. Wang Ling’s rage was sparked by this tragedy, and he now uses all of his strength. While attempting to bring Sun Rong back, he also constructs a parallel universe. This incident extols Wang Ling’s boundless might. In this second reality, he makes an effort to feel feelings and be normal. He is unable to save Sun Rong, though.
