Actor Himansh Kohli has also supported the decision to stop using Chinese apps in the country like many Bollywood celebs. On Monday night, the Indian government banned around 59 Chinese apps, including TikTok, WeChat and UC Browser, citing national security.
‘Yaariyan’ actor Himansh Kohli says that he strongly supports the government’s decision. A statement issued by the government said that all these apps are engaged in breaking the ‘sovereignty and integrity of India, defense of India, security of the state and public order’.
According to a report, the app had around 120 million users worldwide, including Bollywood celebrities like Shilpa Shetty, Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza. Speaking in favor of the ban, Himansh said, ‘I strongly support every decision taken in favor of our country. By banning these apps if it is useful in some way and if I can contribute in any way, I will be the first to do so. We all know about the tension between the two countries and many soldiers are giving their lives. If somehow banning these apps will send a strong message, then I will support it.
Himanshu made his acting debut with ‘Humsafar Love Life’. Since her debut with Yaariyan in 2014, she has been a part of films like ‘He Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai’, ‘Sweety Weds NRI’ and ‘Dil Jo Na Kaha’. He will soon be seen in ‘Bundi Raita’. Himansh Kohli, who recently arrived in Delhi during the COVID-19 epidemic, described himself as a safeguard to stop the spread of this corona virus.
