Where Does Yi Jin Get Transferred From the Sports Department?
Yi Jin has been distraught after the incident with Yu Rim. He begins to question how he ended up in this line of work. He had no idea that in order to further his career, he would have to harm someone so dear to him. He fears that one day he too may harm Hee Do. Yi Jin tells Hee Do’s mother that he wants to be a news anchor like her rather than a sports reporter. His admission that he dates Hee Do, her daughter, follows this. Being an anchor does not happen overnight. Since it controls the newsroom, Yi Jin has now been moved from the sports department to the local news department. Though he still has a ways to go, he is currently retired from sports. He did so to prevent future harm to Hee Do; he had no notion that this transfer would cause them more harm than the remote probability that it would occur in the sports division.
Yu Rim is settling in well to Russia and communicates with her friends via email. Ji Woong had committed to going to see her in Russia, and he did so. Yu Rim’s life is returning to normal after a trying time. She will represent Russia as the defending fencing champion at the world championship. As a result, the media twist her statements to disparage Hee Do, making the Korean people even more angry with her and raising their expectations of Hee Do. Before the competition, Yu Rim stopped responding to Hee Do’s emails since she was unable to discuss her practise sessions with her any longer. Additionally, Hee Do has been viewing Yu Rim as a rival rather than a friend. Hee Do eventually wins the gold medal, though, and the two friends meet up again without any animosity.
Since moving to the local news, Yi Jin has never more busier. They have been having trouble locating a time that works for both of them because Hee Do has been training as well. Compared to a sports reporter, a local news reporter has a packed schedule every day. Even though Yi Jin was Hee Do’s lover, she was unable to join them for dinner. They desired to share in Hee Do’s gold medal victory. In order to make up for it, Yi Jin organises a trip for just the two of them and goes to the night market with Hee Do to buy some bags. Hee Do returns home alone on the day of the trip, though, since Yi Jin has been dispatched to New York to cover the 9/11 catastrophe. At that point, Yi Jin’s brief visit to New York extends to a 6-month stay, and Hee Do and Yi Jin’s separation begins to widen.

Twenty Five Twenty One Season 1: Ending Explained Just Your Existence Make Me Shine
Even though it hurts, it occasionally happens when two people who were each other’s heart and soul part ways. Even when Yi Jin and Hee Do were apart in the early stages of their friendship, their love blossomed. They looked out for one another and helped one another out when things got tough. Hee Do and Yi Jin’s relationship remained static as they matured. Even though they had changed, they still wanted things to remain the same. Yi Jin was more aware of this truth than Hee Do, but their relationship suffered as a result of misunderstandings, impatience, and poor communication. Maybe it’s true that relationships between two individuals aren’t always meant to last. Hee Do and Yi Jin could have made their relationship work together, but they gave up trying. No, they didn’t think it through; instead, they just did what felt right at the time.
In order to escape reality, many viewers turn to Kdramas, yet this drama shoves reality right in everyone’s face. Life is not perfect; we err and make regrettable choices, and youth feels like a beautiful illusion. Twenty Five Twenty One perfectly expresses and blends ephemeral youth with grounded adulthood. After many years, Hee Do finds her lost diary in which she had written an apology to Yi Jin, only to learn that Yi Jin had also found it and had written an apology for her. Yi Jin had given it to the proprietor of the bookshop, but he neglected to give it to Hee Do. Knowing that Yi Jin read that makes Hee Do joyful because it allows her to finally let go of her regrets.
Although Season 1 finishes with a touching scene, many unanswered mysteries remain. Whom did Hee Do wed, and who is the father of Min Chae? He was never seen on the programme. Yi Jin never married, or was it impossible for him to love anyone else after Hee Do, his first love? Following the credits, we witness an older Baek Yi Jin arrive and attempt to sign on to a dated web page. Could this be an indication that Yi Jin and Hee Do will reunite in Twenty Five Twenty One season two? Time will only tell.
